Portable Boasts of Low-Key Millionaire Status, Claims Ownership of 30 Mansions

In a recent episode of the Afrobeats Podcast hosted by Adesope Olajide, controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, made headlines by bragging about his wealth and asserting that he is a low-key millionaire.

The 'Zazu' crooner revealed that he owns approximately 30 mansions scattered across Lagos and Ogun states and emphasized his involvement in philanthropic works, stating that his generosity contributes to his growing wealth.

Wealth and Philanthropy:

Portable, known for his confident and outspoken demeanor, declared his superstar status and described himself as a "man of the people." He claimed that people seek assistance from him, and he willingly gives back because, in his words, "the more I give them, the more I blow." The artist associated his philanthropic endeavors with an increase in his personal success.

Real Estate Holdings:

The singer disclosed that his wealth is reflected in his extensive real estate portfolio. According to Portable, he owns houses in various locations, including Abule-Egba, Ikeja, Sango-Otta, and Abeokuta. He asserted that he recently purchased these properties, keeping an eye on the future, and highlighted that his ownership of these houses has been kept discreet until now.

Challenging the Industry Norms:

Portable expressed his perspective on the music industry, describing it as highly lucrative. He even went as far as likening the financial gains from music to a form of money ritual. The artist claimed that his success surpasses that of many of his industry peers, accusing some of them of projecting "fake lifestyles" on social media.

Portable's bold claims about his wealth and real estate holdings, as well as his views on the music industry, add a layer of controversy to his public image. As the news circulates, it remains to be seen how the industry and the public will respond to his assertions, and whether Portable's statements will impact his standing in the highly competitive world of Nigerian music.
